hm.. how much you think MY FC is worth? :D

Been SERIOUSLY thinking about selling it to get ahold of a turbo.. but it really depends on if i can get what i think its worth to me as a car out of it ... here goes...

Rebuilt engine, about 3000 miles on it. PRISTINE running engine, full 30PSI oil at idle, no smoke whatsoever, idles fine at 700-800rpm.

New fuel injectors
New clutch, pilot bearing
All new belts, hoses
All new vacuum lines
4 almost brand new tires - 215/60R14
Full stereo. Aiwa CD player, all pioneer speakers, JBL subwoofer, amp
New leather shift boot
H4 headlight housings with Sylvania Silverstar bulbs (wonderful combination)
AC blows ice cold
new catalytic converters
new water pump
all new intake gaskets

"Mods"
Runs premix - i could convert it back to OMP if i were to sell it if buyer desired
6 port system removed (yes, even the rods)
cone filter intake
Mobil 1 filled trans and differential

Appearance
Interior is in very nice condition, has one small tear on drivers side seat.
Exterior is o.k. no rust at all (AZ car) but paint doesnt have all its shine (not oxidized though)

The car drives very nicely, has nice ocld AC, passed emissions with flying colors, and pulls like a **** on the high end. has 117,000 miles on the odo , although the title says "excess of mechanical limits" (mileage discrepancy from the last owner, had 138,000 miles , then a few months later was reported as 115,000 miles, which was when i bought it). i have recipts for everything i have done to the car.

But hey, i love the car, and ill only let it go if its worth enough to someone else to make it worth my while

How much you guys think its worth as is? And if it makes a difference, how much would it be worth it i was to reinstall the stock OMP and 6port system?

Unless selling to a hardcore FC lover, you might consider putting the OMP back in and removing the stereo. Only us enlightened few know how the OMP damages the engine, but joe blow wants low upkeep and couldn't be bothered to remember premixing every tank. Ask 3500, put it in the autotrader; you never know in Phoenix. People tend to have $ there judging by all the new cars on the streets.

Looks good. I'd pay $3000 (Canadian) for it.

But you should put the metering oil pump back on as suggested above.

I'd say $2000 myself, but I know how low these cars can go for. So ask like $3000 or so. If thats not worth it to ya, then I wouldn't bother.

I guess it couldnt hurt to try eh. I'd be happy with $3000 for it hehe.

What i'd really like to do, if i were to sell it, is to get a 86 basse model parts car, strip it, and just buy a complete Turbo 2 drivetrain (probably a jspec engine and rebuild it)

I know its the long and hard road to take but i would love to have turbo power inside a base model weight.

I would do the turbo conversion to the car I have but I feel like that would be wasting my freshly rebuilt engine, unless someone was willing to pay some decent money for it if i was to take it out.

Turbo'ing the NA motor would be another option, but I have to pass emissions .. and that wont happen with the ACV removed. SO that means swapping back in all the N/A stuff every year for emissions = no fun.

THis is such a dilemma. What do you guys think?

isn't $3K canadian like $300 US???

I agree with everyone else, put the OMP back on and pull the stereo- you'll never get what you think the stereo is worth.
