Unhappy hitting a wall

ive got an 87 TII with one hell of a 3800 hesitation, well its actually like hitting a wall. it starts fine and runs fine as long as the secondary injection system isnt needed. i just had injectors cleaned and blueprinted and did the work myself. needless to say, i probably messed up something with my secondaries and was wondering what the easiest place to start diagnosing is... thanks

check the grounds for the secondaries... you might have either forget to reground or you messed up the injectors .....

It's either one or the other. Two different problems, two different causes.

A non-functioning injector will cause a complete misfire and a loss of half your power, hence the feeling of hitting a wall. Since you've had the injectors out recently it sounds like you haven't plugged one back in properly or there's some other problem with a connector like dirty contacts it damage that's causes a connector to move and not make proper contact.

This post is complete BS and should be ignored by all. You have no idea what you’re talking about, and anyone who foolishly follows your advice and attempts to "reground" the injectors will end up with a blown fuse and a dead car.

thanks for the advice, i figured it out. I lost a retainer on one of my secondary connectors. figures it had to be something simple...

obviously youre a *****.... he said he was cleaned the injectors that involves alot of work and he could have possibly pulled a wire or ground... i mistakenly said that he should "reground" meaning that he could have undone one of the grounds or pulled one of the wires and it broke and forgotten to reconnect them...read the post again...***
