Wastegate stuck open? Even so, you should still be hitting more boost... Does the turbo spin if you try and move it by hand? How stuff is it? How much play side to side?

Uhh, that hose on the right that you plugged with a spark plug fits over a pipe coming off that metal pipe next to it. The one that goes from the turbo to the Intercooler and is connected by rubber couplings.

Fix that, I'm surprised the car even starts with a leak that big.

2nd, go the Lowe's or something and get a pvc cap the size of your intake hose. Drill a hole into the top of it, and fit a nipple over it. Put the pvc inside your intake hose, and tighten it to seal it. Now hook up the nipple to an air compressor and set the regulator for something like 10 psi, and fill it. You're gonna hear air rushing out of every part of your intake setup.

You shouldn't, but these cars are old, and this has probably never been done to your car before. Sealing your system is imperative.

Edit: After thinking about it for a minute longer, the car shouldn't start at all with a leak that big. You must have capped that pipe. You should also be having idle trouble since that line feeds your BAC.

IF somehow you didn't cap it and your car still starts, there is a very large chance you blew your turbo because of it. Having a large leak will make the turbo spin very high to create even that 1psi. High enough and boom, smoke, exactly what you described.

i believe you are mistaken, that hose isnt connected to the turbo or intercooler. i think that on the original blow off valve piping that this piece of tubing was connected to it, ill try to find a picture and show you...

anyways what im trying to say is on the stock piping where the BOV is there are two pieces that stick out, when we custom made my BOV piping we didnt add the second one, maybe thats what im missing and its not forcing that boost that it should be through it. im gunna goto big als tommorow and see if my buddy can weld a little piece of piping on there foir me and see if this fixes my problem.

this is what i ended up doing, since i couldnt find a picture to show yall what i was talking about, i went ahead and got the piece added here is the old pic compared with the new below it...





and im still hitting no boost, the BOV was just installed a week ago on that new piping, when i removed it yesterday it had a good coating of oil on it which is leading me to belive my turbo is gone, or just to oil seal...

If you're getting oil blow into the intake, that's not good at all. You might take the turbo off and take a look at it.
