Are you telling me you know absolutely noone that knows noone that can get you past inspection? If you are in the brooklyn ny area I can give you atleast 6 shops that will hand you a sticker for about 60 bucks. Ask around before wasting money on a cat.

Your best bet is to put the whole Cat system back on to pass. Nothing will bolt up to the RB headers except the presilecer. To get any cat to work there you would need some custom work.

couldnt i buy some cheap *** cat and then get some custom flanges or something made to mount up on the RB system? Anything anyones done before or any input thanks

You would need to get a short enough cat. I *think* the RB presilecer is shorter than a FC main cat. You would also need to rig up a way to feed air into the cat if the airpump is gone.

Catco makes very cheap cats, there's no reason why you couldn't find one and weld on some flanges. Another option if you want it to be a perminant fixture on your exhaust would be to get a 3" Magnaflow cat and weld on flanges, or something along those lines.

Hey Bigtymer- ya there are a few cheap cats(well big resonator) that will hold up for a few years available at local shops. I believe it was a one twist resonator tho but should be fine. Try Budget Brake and Muffler, I had to do this over here in Victoria on my 82GX (Canadian GSL with a few more options for you US guys that are about to say there was no 82GX...only a few made) and it held up very well and sounded pretty good. Most of the BBandMuffler shops will do custom work pretty cheaply.I am sure it was under a hundy with labor incl
Cheers
