Exclamation Hit me baby one more time...

So when i was taking my disc rotors yesterday to perform a brake lathe, i was using an impact driver to get the bolts out (like the picture shown below) and the bit broke off inside the bolt head... What should i do now to get it out?



Ive heard hit it with a hammer and the vibration will cause it to loosen up and maybe shatter, heating the area up and using needle nose plyers, and most realistically......drilling it out and buying a new disc assembly.

What's your guys's ideas/opinions?

just drill them out... you dont need them anyways.

just to be sure...

you are talking about the screws that hold the brake disc to the hub... correct?

yah. they just hold the rotor to the hub when you have the lug nuts off and the caliper off.

mine have been removed.
