Exclamation Hit a curb, +445 Dollars!

Slid and hit a sidewalk going 25 mph. The left front tire hit the curb pretty hard.
The steering feels like the two front wheel are fighting each other. Took it to the shop I worked at. She's definitely going to need alignment, and the I can fit 3 fingers on the left side between the tire and the back of the fender, but i can fit 4 fingers on the right side. The left front lower control arm is bent, so I'm going to need one. 445 dollars from the books. Mother****..... The car will sometimes turn hard left or right, it feels like the steering is fighting itself and when I take left turns around exit the left front tire will screech. And the car smells like burning. Is it okay to buy used lower control arms?

You're getting by cheap-the last car that hit a curb that my shop fixed ('02 300M) cost well over $2000 to repair

you probably bent more then the control arm. the strut and hub / spindle would probably go at the same time.
