Well, yeah, it could happen like this, but I think that Hondas have a lot more in them that this "demo" cares to admit...Definitely they are able to beat plain ol' Golfs of the GTi, GT or VR flavour...

I don't think so, the Golf VR6 GTi has 172hp, 173ft.lbs. C&D lists the 1.8T as doing 0-60 in 7.3s and the VR6 as doing it 6.9s. They found the Si doing it in 7.1s (160hp, 111ft.lbs). Most of the riced up civics out there are the lower models with less power.

I have a friend that owns a stereo shop here and I saw a couple VW's that he was working on. They are built like tanks an are very well put together. I wouldnt mind driving one if I wanted a family car.

Hey I kinda like the flat window hatch replacement but the supra wing is too much in my opinion. Contradiction of styles.
