High oil pressure?

Hey guys, i know this has been covered a lot and i searched and the results were inconsistent, someone would say there pressure was a certain psi and ppl would say thats about right, someone elses would be higher and they would say thats about right.

Heres my situation. I have JDM S5 i noticed the oil level was low so i did my first oil change on this motor. I used castrol 20W 50 as it gets pretty hot here in texas.

Before i did the oil change my gauge would usually read about 35-40 at idle and get to just barely over the 60, i was comfortable with that level it ran fine.

After doing my oil change today i started it up and right at idle it hit 60. i havent taken it for a drive yet because i don't wanna blow any oil lines. i revved it up a bit in the garage and as i revved it the pressure creeped up to probably around 75 or so.

I guess my question is, is this safe? has anyone else had this experience and as i go drive it tonight i want to know what point is too high?

Thanks in advance
