5th/6th aux port

is it normal for them to open just by reving it in neutral?
i popped my hood, and gave my engine a few rev, and i noticed the aux ports opening... both of them

Being in gear shouldn't make a difference. Sounds like they are working well.....lucky you.........

ah alright
i was worried that maybe since the engine wasnt loaded up
and if it opens
that there is a possibility for clogged cats, etc...
since its a S4 that uses backpressure and all...

3800 rpm is the secondary injector crossover iirc. I'd look into that, NOW. They're awefully close to that exhaust manifold.

Fuel+manifold=fire.

I'm not an expert by any means so just take my advice with a grain of salt but i DO KNOW that it's not normal for smoke to seep from the intake manifold or engine.....any part of it.
