High Idle like 4500RPM High
My 87 is idling at 4500rpm when I start the damn thing and it smokes like the battle at Gettysburg I have changed the AFM and the ajusted the idle screw but it will not go lower than 3500RPM
I think it might be the TPS
I checked multiple threads
but I would also like some suggestions
the car has not idled right since my friend caught the engine on fire and I had to replace the engine harness and TPS " this TPS was the good one"

Check for things physically holding the throttle body open: Throttle cable, throttle stop screw, cruise control cable, thermowax assembly. Have you done anything to remove the 'accelerated warm-up'? This makes it idle at 3000 rpm when cold. If so, you may be a vac leak away from figuring it out.
Also, excessive smoke is no good. Is it oil or coolant? Does it clear quickly?

Check that squirrile's didn't build a nest in your throttle body, leaving all their huge nuts and you unable to close your butterfly valves.
After that, you most likely have a vacuum leak, or a dirty idle screw in the TB.

that is the first I have ever heard of the accelerated warm-up what hell is that ?
and I replaced all the vac lines like a month ago and the smoke goes away like 30secs after I turn off the engine.
does not smell like oil or coolant I know what both smell like. "old engine was blown and had mocha for oil and cracked iron housings all three of them"
the butterfly valves work move great and the I just honed out my whole intake like a month ago when I put the new harness in
think an or two injector is stuck open maybe?

Stuck injectors would not cause the idle go up. It is most likely a sticking throttle cable or some part of the throttle body sticking. Also if you start the car in gear it won't do the accelerated warm up, but if started in nuetral it will.
UPDATE
just tried to turn it over and nothing. It died yesterday suddenly me and my old man thought it might have ran out of gas so we put about 2gal in it
and now it wont start checked the fuses and 2 were blown so replaced the 10 fuse with another 10 fuse turned it over blew it again and so after than we took the 10 out and put a 15 in it and it did not blow but it still did not start.
so now what bad coil wire grounded that should not be bad plugs?
so right now I am checking spark no spark I am taking out plugs and going to clean them
