High Idle

High Idle

High when my car is cold it idles at 1500k to 2k and some times when its warm it does it too. DOes anyone know why it does this? Thanks for and help.

Its the start up precedure as long as it doesnt do this when its warm dont worry about it. Its normal. But check everything if your worried. Just remember that it is supposed to idle around 750 when at opperating temp.

talk about an idle problem, mine sticks at 1500 to 2000, it just goes up and down, up and down, when its hot and cold. can anyone help me with this problem? i have replaced all the hoses and made sure everything is air tight, i dont know what else to do.

check the bac valve then while the motor is running spray it with carb cleaner

my car has the same problem before,
you can check the coolant hose between the BAC and throttle body, if the hose is clogged , it might cause the high idle problem
