Hey...Manifold porting on a turbo?

Well I have done some N/A porting on my 89GXL..Not fully done but poeple have got 10rwhp by doing this...I was wondering why I never hear anyone doing this on theri t11. Is it because air is being forced in and flow is not necesary? Even then would u relieve some pressure from the turbo or even boost a little higher?

oh and will an 88 turbo sunroof fit an 89GXL? thnx.

I did it. I felt some power from it. Of course, I did the TB mod and porting at the same time, and did some SERIOUS poting (and mirror polishing) to my intakes. Dunno, really, what its worth.

10HP seems optimistic, but yes, manifold port matching would work just as well on a TII.
