yes your car is running at 14 pounds, your getting dirty boost creep, you need to upgrade your injectors, and either get a standalone, or a SAFC but i recommend a standalone, because you can keep it for the life of your car, and program just about everything.

I would check your guage. I have similar mods (except the BOV) and I only see 9-10 lbs max on my 87 T2. Who knows, maybe there is something in your car you don't know about.

what version. the 1.5 or 1.7, If it's the 1.7 you need to get bigger secondary injectors as well which I would definetly recomend if you are running that kind of boost. What you really need to do is port your wastegate, then if you want to turn the boost up get a boost controler. If you keep it up at 14psi stock turbo, stock fuel pump, stock injectors you are going to blow your motor.

I am running at 14lbs as well, ever since the cold air stopped by, i have a stock s5 turbo with a few more mods than you but i am running it rich on the walbro fuel pump. i like the extra rwhp.

I don't have any aftermarket computers or safc but i have experienced boost creep well past 14psi, it almost feels like the clutch is slipping because the power is not getting to the ground. kinda scary, it is then that you get off the throttle real quick before something bad happens.

If it's an Autometer boost gauge, it's not accurate.

I run 14psi all the time.
It's not that big of a deal.
The stock turbo isn't that efficient at that high boost though...

No. YOU need to upgrade your brakes and stop drag racing down Main street.

if you don,t have a boost controller and you're boosting that much you should probable check the wastegate is actuating...maybe the line from turbo to actuator is off/leaking?
