Hey, I got another question about the Turbo in a T2

As some of you might know, i just bought a 7, and im still a newbie when it comes to them. But I am wondering the turbo boost gauge that comes in the dash, the stock one. How far is it supose to go? Mine only goes half way, and stays there, any sugestions?

That's about right, maybe should be a little higher. Get youself an aftermarket gauge. The factory gauge leaves a lot to be desired for accuracy.

Ya the stock guage is a POS, get a good aftermarket one, and if your car is totally stock u should be seeing no higher then 6 psi on the guage.

You don't say what year your car is, but it should get nearly to the top. Series 4's (86-88) make 340mmHg (6.6psi) max boost, and the gauge reads to 400mmHg. Series 5's (89-90) make 430mmHg (8.3psi) max boost, and the gauge reads to 450mmHg.
As mentioned though, it's not a very reliable or accurate gauge, so the first thing you should do it fit a decent aftermarket boost gauge.
