High power alternator

High power alternator

I did a search and went through the first few pages and didnt find wat i was lookin for. my question is where can i find a high power alternator replacement? or can i use an fd alternator? i intend to be running some electronics. so i would appreciate any help given. thankx in advance.

Yes, the FD alternator will supply you with more than enough power. PM silverotor as has a few in stock, and come complete to make the conversion as easy as possible! Plus a great price!

talk to any alternator shop..

remove yours, bring it to them and say "i want an alternator like this but puts out more amps"

any good shop will be able to hook you up

Yes, but then you need to swap the pullies, and possibly have it bored out, and if you have an S4 you'll need a S5 clip. Silverotor's FD alt's are awesome, a great price, and come with everything out need! One stop shopping.

good point

but if for some reason it shouldnt work out, you can still get it done at any alt shop..

BUT yeah like HKS said its probably easier to go through someone who sells them premade for your car
