Hey guys, is this a good deal on a Turbo II?
I've been wanting an FC for a while, and I finally found the one I think I'm going to get, just wanted to see what you guys thought (since I don't know what they're worth) Sorry for the long-*** post, just want to give you guys all the facts I know.
The car is as follows:
88 Turbo II
150,000miles (I know, it's a lot)
It has a new high flow cat converter and downpipe (Bonez), freeflow catback (Bonez), Apexi S-AFC, Walbro fuel pump (not installed), 3" Turbo inlet duct and cone intake (quality, s5 turbo and manifold (not installed (from a 89-91 TII)), Ported Throttlebody (still have unported one), New clutch and resurfaced flywheel, Front Lip (currently not on), new plug wires (ngk), New master/slave cylinder & steel braid line, Fuel Cut Defenser, Greddy Turbo Timer, Autometer Boost & Autometer Oil Pressure guages, Eibach Springs & Tokico Struts/Shocks, Trust/Greddy Front Strut Tower Bar, Blitz BOV - 225's Yokohama AVS ES100 (2 practically new - 2 Worn (rears)) on Borbet Type T Wheels +35 offset, Stock Rims w/Dunlop Winter Sport M2, S5 Round Tailights, s5 upgraded alternator.
Car did 215RWHP with the cat on, stock boost, and the turbo starting to go.
Now for the bad:
Paints a little chipped, and it needs a little body work (body is probably a 7 out of 10).Window and sunroof needs greased and cleaned. Driver door handle broken. Has a vacuum leak which gives it a semi-rough idle. Turbo seals are on the way out (that's why it comes with the S5 turbo and manifold)
Asking price: 2200.00
Here's a pic:

sounds pretty good - also check for regular used car stuff: does the following work:
-AC
-Stereo
-alignment, does the car go straight and does the steering wheel shake.
These little things let you know if the car was cared for, check the body lines and if anything is very off the car has been smacked up and pieced together...sounds like a good buy so far though.

Sorry about the no pic, for some reason this forum runs REALLY slow on my PC, and I guess it didn't upload. I'll try again:
Edit:
Lets try these:
Interior:
Rear of car w/ aftermarket rims on:
Front of car (you can see it's dirty, and see the paintchips) without front lip on and with winter rims/tires on:

Thanks for the replies guys!
So, if (/when) I have to do a rebuild, what would the cost be to do it myself? (for new gaskets etc), and are there good manuals out there for it?
Or, would it be better to just use a place like Rotary Ressurections or something?

A rebuild yourself will cost between 700-1000 for the rebuild kits depending on where you get it from. Haynes manual works pretty well, also the FSM is online.
