Hestation/Bogging Problem VIDEO INSIDE
I keep thinking everythings going good with the seven until I drive it again. Well I'm still having a hesitation issue. My car is a 5 speed 91 S5 N/A with 90K miles completely stock besides a missing exhaust. Motor has great compression, starts and idle's beautifully, and TPS seems to be fine although I have not tested it, I have tried unplugging it once fully warm and all that does is drop the RPM's a little at idle. I took a video to see if maybe some of you had some insight. Please ignore the shitty driving as I am a bad multi-tasker (Taking a video with my phone while driving isn't as easy as I thought.). In the video you can see some slight hesitation in the beginning but towards the end of the video I gave it about 1/2 throttle and all it did was bog, I took my foot off the gas after. In neutral the car revs freely throughout the RPM range, the problem only occurs under load, the heavier I am on the throttle the more it bogs.

Ideas anyone? Thanks in advance.

my t2 started doing this last weekend as I was heading down the interstate at @80 after getting a full tank of gas. all of a sudden it started backfiring and spitting/sputtering until I pulled off on the shoulder where the idle leveled out perfectly. Popped my hood checking for obvious things gone wrong but nothing visual out of place. Hopped back in started to pull off and as soon as I got a little way into the throttle the power dropped off and the car acted like a smoking cancer victim. Crept home and parked it for the night. Next day decided to check around some things and eventually resorted to the fuel. Siphoned some out an found water mixed in, gg.
Long story short, I replaced the fuel and the car ran as if nothing had ever happened to begin with. Don't jump to conclusions so soon, start with basic stuff which so far it seems you have/are. Fuel, Spark, Compression etc. Might want to check your systems as well, could have a failure somewhere along the line.

I'm all about starting with the basics first, which I should have included in my original post. The car has new plugs, wires, fuel filter, just replaced the fuel tank and pump too and I just put in new gas yesterday. May I ask which conclusion I jumped to? I don't see it.
Still open to suggestions, anyone?

Not really familiar with an S5 so take it with a grain of salt, but when an S5 has problems with the OMP and it is perceived by the ECU the ECU will go into "limp mode" which might be your problem. Do an "advanced search" on limp mode or S5 OMP, and you'll unearth more info.

Well the car decided to fix itself and is no longer giving any codes and is running great. Since I WAS getting the code for the OMP could this mean that mine is on its way out?
