hesitation at 2,500 rpm...

i am looking for a list on what to change,check of possible reasons for a slite hesitation in fifth gear cruising. its not a violent shake its just a small studder type shake which im tired of.

eeh....someone correct me if im wrong...but that might have something to do with the 5/6 ports. you can find a write up on how to make them run off your air pump in the archives for a cheap fix... it cost me $30 and took me about 30 minutes to install

Only in 5th gear? Only things I can think of would be the O2 sensor/ECU unsuccessfully attempting a closed loop, or the split air solenoid on the ACV doing some funky things, and neither of those would I actually bet money on...

If the ports are opening too soon (causes a very slight power loss before the secondaries finally come on), you'd also sense it in other gears, notably 4th...

well say im cruising in fifth and i come to a small long hill, if i slightly let of the gas itll kinda hesitate untill i give it gas, i kinda feels like its running out of gas.

is the car jerking back and fourth slightly when you let off the gas and give it gas?

because it is on mine but i know its due to worn U joints but im poor and cant afford and aftermarket drive shaft with interchangable U joints, but when i do!.....watch out!

well its a slight chug when i slightly let off gas about half way, say i wanna mantain a certain speed going down a hill i let off the throttle but not completely and i feal slight jerking back and foth like a miss or somethin.
