Finally got to drive my car!!!

I have owned my FC for 5 months now and I finally got to really drive it... My rebuild is complete and it is running great. Thanks for all the help guys! Today I put her on the road and I have 10 days to finish it(when temp inspection runs out)... I need to get a cat back exhaust(just running with the cats on for now) and adjust the headlights and thats about it... the rest is cosmetic, have to get all the body gaps tighter, I just slapped the stuff on for now since i want to drive the sucker... I put 30 miles on her today and it took everything I had to keep it under 4k rpm

One question... will it pass inspection if my auto seat belts dont work but it is set in a position where it can function as a shoulder belt? or do I need to go to the mazda $tealership and have them fix it this week?

oh yeah, wheres the cheapest place to get an RB cat back?

Thanks,
Rob

the auto seat belts, there was a recall on them, so you should be able to get they changed for free.. im gladd to see that your rebuild is up and running great, i hope mine will be registered this week too!!!!!

I will have to use every fiber of my being to keep my new turbo motor out of harms way for the break in period- must... stay..... off....... throttle.....

Big thumbs up- and know that for every eggshell footed feathering of the throttle now, you will get many right foot romps to make up for it!!!

I know that mazda will change them if you twist their arm enough but I was wondering if it would pass with a non functional seatbelt... since I only have 9 days till it has to pass inspection, it might not be enough time for them to get the parts and replace the track...
