Teflon melts at conisderably lower than 800 degrees found in any 4 stroke engine's combustion cycle, well alone a rotary with its higher duty cycle.

If the teflon lasts as long on rotors and apex seals as it does on my pots and pans, its a big ol waste of time.

Titanium is really light isn't it....

I can see the bill now .... $xxx,xxx engine......

As for the pots and pans.....it lasts for ages if you treat it right....and pay for top quality ****......but who can be bothered doing that?

Ti expands quite a bit under heat expansion.&nbsp If you're going to go Ti, you'll need to go Ti for ALL parts!
