i'm not sure why you expect a stock ecu and a bridgeport to run.... is there a check engine light? if yes, what code?

you wanna get rid of it you say?

get rid of your car. you got an rx7 that has a RACE PORT on it DESIGNED for ONLY RACING in a STOCK car with STOCK ecu.

figure it out.

What size secondary injectors are in it?

Like other said, stock setup was not designed to run that port style. If you want it to run well you need a standalone or put a stock or street ported engine in there.

so you are saying that every time you run into a problem with your car you just get rid of it. i dont want to get rid of the car i just want to fix it. i noticed the problem when i was driving with a friend and decided to race him.

I think he's saying its not the smartest idea to race your daily driver. But I don't want to see this turn into a hate thread...

your problem is that you have too much engine, and not enough of everything else.

did the car drive normally before this race?

the car drives normal just cant rev past 6k. and before this race i never drove it hard. i drive it like any other car. i am about to get a second car the next month or so.

so i am thinking about buying the rtek7 chip, new fuel pump and filter. this weekend im going to change the coils with t2 coils see if it makes any difference.

im running a ported s4 on stock ecu. but i have a safc and 550 secondaries a little bit of tuning and some extra fuel goes a long way. i have had almost the exact same thing checked my timing and sure enough it was out fixed it and revs perfect ever since. just my opinion it is a sports car its built to be driven dont be afraid to actually drive it. a redline a day keeps the rebuild away!!!
