help where do these go?

Car is 1990 GXL

I am in the process of restoring some pieces so I can get 5th/6th ports and vdi working. But I need help figuring out where some things go.

1.) First is on the rat's nest. I cannot figure out where the large tube starts from and ends. I did not see it in the vacuum routing diagram in the fsm (nor where the branches lead to either).

2.) This is the middle intake manifold just below the BAC which is pictured. What is that piece and where does it feed to?

3.) where does this nipple feed?

thanks in advance

Actually that's not correct on either count.

#2 is the cold climate start assist injection system. take it off and install a block off plate. That system is useless.

#1 and #3 i am not 100% sure on but i believe they are part of the accelerated warmup system. 1 takes air from the intake pipe after the AFM and routes it to the passenger side of the intake system where the AWS solenoid is mounted then from there feeds that nipple on the UIM. Cap that nipple, and the one on the pre-TB intake pipe and ditch the rest of that system as it is also useless.

The reason i am not 100% sure is all that stuff gets ditched on my cars. I leave only the following systems in-tact:
- Fuel pressure regulator solenoid. (No reason to remove this system as it works fine on almost all cars and has no negative side effects, allthough i did remove this on my racecar for simiplicity)
- PCV system including all stock routing
- On street N/A cars the aux port and VDI systems stay, on race cars, both get wired open.
- BAC valve stays on street cars, is removed on my race car
- OMP gets removed whenever possible...(only aftermarket or rtek computer upgrades)
- Injector bleeds all get plumbed similar to stock on my cars. No reason not to.
- Thermowax system stays on street cars, is removed on my race cars. When adjusted properly along with other parts of the TB the system works very well and there is really no reason to remove it.

The brake line vac is on the LIM on the S5 N/A cars, right near the split air nipple. Not the MIM.

The BAC is above the cold start assist injector...and both coolant nipples are shown.

Thank you so much.
Just one more question:

Heres the oil pedestal, and the two nipples there. From the diagrams, the top one seems to hook up to the purge control valve on the rat's nest. Where does the bottom one go?
Currently (without the nest on), the two are hooked up directly to each other. Should I just plug it? or T it into the PCV hose?

Bottom nipple connects to a hard pipe on the firewall that goes to the charcoal canister. I also keep the charcoal vapor capture system stock, even on race cars. No reason to remove it as it just makes the car stink and it does not really weigh anything or ever cause issues.

pic 1 is the hose that connects to the bottom of the intake tube the other end cvonnects to the AWS valve and from there another tube connects the other side of the AWS to the nipple on back of the dynamic chamber(pic 3). pic 2 is the cold climate start assist injection systembut my car was originally a cali car and now az so i have never had that or a need for it.
