Help what is this?

I wish I could get a picture for you guys but I'll try to describe it as best as possible. If you are in front of the engine looking at the intake filter there is a lil silver box just a little bit below and to the left of the filter. What is this box? It has some numbers etched into it and it says Denso, I'd imagine its something ignition wise but I'm not sure. Has anyone ever removed this as its in a bad spot my K&N filter now has a small hole in it from smashing into the corner of the box.

Is it below the airfilter and bolted on the fender or is it in front of the air filter? How many plugs going to it?

That's a "pressure sensor" in the fuel/emission control system. Get the FSM on-line and see for yourself. Can you remove it? Sure you can do anything you want. Is it a good idea to remove it? Probably not, but I don't really know. Relocate it if you must.

It's either the two-stage voltage system for your fuel pump, or the resistor relay pack for the fuel injectors.
