FL Help:wana fix oil pressure gauge

hey guys. i own a S4 FC with a N/A S5 motor. for some reason my oil pressure gauge aint working right. like the needle spikes all the way past 110 and doesnt move at all. i tried messing with the connecter thing for the gauge thats connected to the block (sorry bare with me here i dont really know the technical terms for it but im sure you guys know what im talking about.) but all it will do is just turn off the gauge if i turn it a certain way. Any help will be greatly appreciated. just want my car working properly. =D

Under the oil filter there is an oil pressure sender unit. Try that!

Yeah definitely the sending unit. They're known to go bad. Replace it.

The oil pressure sender unit is the first thing to malfunction.

Mazdatrix sell it for $72.
NAPA is asking nearly $100.
Not sure what a dealer would want.
