HELP!! Somethings wrong

So the other day I was on the freeway and my turbo II started to act REALLY funny so i pulled over to the side of the road. The car was jerking arround and running REALLY rich, almost felt like it was only on 1 rotor or something. Anyways i got my car towed back home pulled everything apart to see what it was. I couldnt find ANYTHING AT ALL. But then i was talking to a guy the other day and i told him what happened and he said a friend of his had the same problem. I have RC 750cc secondary injectors and so did his friend. They found out that the injectors were stuck open. then i remembered when i pulled off the upper intake manifold there was alot of gas fumes in there. Do you think thats whats wrong? Is there anyway i can check them? what should i do? HELP ME PLEASE!!!

Do the FSM technique to check to see if the injectors are stuck open.

Short story. Wire the injectors to the fuel rail and start the fuel pump. see if fuel comes out.

^exactly. So take the fuel rail off with the injectors in place still and put a couple cups underneath them. Turn the key to on and pull out your cas. Rotate it to see if the injectors are functioning properly. I've been told this works to see if they work good or not.. correct me if im wrong, I've never tried it but it makes sense to me.

do you guys think that cars in like a safe mode? because i was overheater at the time when it happened. I was thinking since you run lean when the motor is overheater, would the computer dump gas so it doesnt blow up? because that pretty much what its doing, dumping gas that is.

overheater... um, do you mean overheating? I've never experienced anything like what you're talking about, after overheating my cars on several occasions... So I don't think so.

yeah i checked the spark plugs and wires there fine. Today i am going to re-wire the engine wiring harness. When i got the car it had been sitting since 97 and from 00 there was no motor in it. the harness is like a rock. Plus im not running emissions so i dont need all the BS in there.

Did you check all 4 injectors?
The top ones that are easy to get to have only a 10% duty cycle.
The two tucked under the UIM are the real work horses.
