HELP! something oil related broke!!

hey guys... to make a long story short...
i was testing out my new BNR stage II all day today and just after a 3rd gear pull my oil pressure buzzer came on. immedietly i shut the car off and coasted off the road. i popped the hood to see what was wrong and noticed oil ALL OVER the front of the engine and down the driver side of my car (even on the edge of the tires).

i just got it home and i'm not too sure what could've broken. oil filler cap is on, OMP is in tact and so are the lines. the oil feed and return lines are also in tact. i'm praying that it's just the oil cooler or one of the lines. what would give first... the SS oil lines or the cooler itself? is there anything else that might've given in under the pressure? i'm gonna get under it tommorow but i'm trying to prepare myself for this. thanx

add oil and have a friend look in the bay and crank the motor. dont let it start. pull the EFI fuse so it wont start.

oil leak nightmare!!!

Yup. The only way to find the source of that leak is to add some oil, crank the car
BUT without it starting! Have a look and locate the *****!!
Good luck!

After a bit of front end damage a couple of years ago, I stored the car for the winter straight from the body shop. I guess the guys didn't notice an oil line got kinked where it passes near the frame. I was lucky enough to notice oil spraying out from the engine bay when I started the engine in my garage some time later, because the hood was open. The lines will get you every time, if you don't inspect regularly (for those who still have original lines).

these were Stainless Steel Braided oil lines. the line actually seperated from the fitting b/c the crimp job was horrible. i was smart enough to immediately shut the car off and coast off the road when the oil buzzer came on so it might've ran on low oil for about 3sec. i've contacted who i purchased these lines from and i'm just waiting to see how they respond to this. within the next day I'll start a new thread will all the pictures and info. we'll see how this works out. but thanks for all of your help.

ummmm.... if you blow an oil line, I imagine all your oil is gone in a matter of seconds, I'd give the car thirty more before it blows!

a cooler line is toast/faulty... and yes they already were stainless steel braided oil lines. i have to get to my pics and i'll show you guys why you need to becarefull even with SS lines.

the car ran for all of about 5sec (in neutral) after the oil buzzer came on. i shut it off at about 80+mph and coasted off the road. it seems that the line blew during the 3d gear pull... b/c as soon as i was slowing down the buzzer came on and there is a nice strip of sprayed oil on the road i was driving on.
