It's a typical problem with the series 4, something about the fuel pump still running when you turn the car off or something i cant remember the details but its a fairly easy fix someone on here is bound to know the answer your after

I havent ever heard of this before... Once you turn the car off, you cut power to the pump.

Well i really cant remember what the mechanic said exactly i was looking at getting an s4 with the same problem. Have a look at that link to rotary ressurection their band aid fix is to install a cut off switch

The cut off switch is for cars that have flooding problems... Not for cars that have pumps that continue to run when the car is switched off.
Flooding is generally caused by low compression or sensor malfunctions. Also, poor upkeep can cause a car to start flooding (old plugs/etc..).

Yeah as i said it was a while ago and i didnt remember the exact details all i really remember is that it happens when the compression gets a bit low and is pretty easy to fix

yes, tested good, on the pressure switch the wires were cut, i reattached them using a diagram, then the flooding started. my bac will not adjust idle i have a tech pulling my ecu to test it
