Exclamation Help Need Response About Premix!

I was driving my beater tonight when the brakes went out going downhill around a turn: NOT FUN. So tomorrow I have to drive the 7 to work. Here's my need answer issue. I do not have enough gas to gert me to and from work, wait why not just fill up right? Well I have a big problem with hot-starts and the last time I filled up I ended having to do the ATF trick at the pump: NOT FUN, AND I was late for work. I can't use the "my car flooded" excuse two times in two weeks so my concern is. Can get gas while the engine is running like lazy people do. See my plan is to put 2 oz of premix in, 4 gallons of gas, then 6 more oz's of premix and 4 more gallons of gas. In total 8 gallons of gas, 8 oz of premix, happy mixture right? Will this work? I don't wanna do all premix first, then gas or vice-versa. Anyone have any suggestions? BTW, my fuel cut switch works 9-10 times, that 1 time it didn't work I was at the pump, damnnit. I beleive I am getting gassy oil in the crankcase.......ah **** just answer my question, I need to quit rambling.

...what teh hell is the question? Just keep a decent premix ratio and don't set your car on fire in the process of improperly gassing your car

most premixes are an oz to a gallon for 100 to 1 ratio... so I guess we are wondering what your question really is

Can I premix while the car is running, like a little at a time. I don't wanna put in 8 oz of premix, clog the fuel filter, then add my gas...Would it be safe to premix while idling, putting in 2 oz of premix first, then 4 gallons of gas, then 6 more oz's of premix, then four more gallons of gas, a nice 100:1 ratio(8oz premix-8 gallons of gas) just done while it was running in an unorthodox manner as to not clog the fuel filter/injectors.

Dude, I've been pouring in 8 to 12 oz at a time, then filling the tank, for a couple of years now, with no problems...Get the TCW-3 stuff, it disperses readily in the presence of fuel...

While it is running? That's all I'm concerned with.

dump 2 stroke in the tank, then fill the tank with gas... it will be mixed up just fine by the fill

Yup. The incoming gas mixes it all up.

I wouldn't fill my car while it was running... you should be OK, but BE CAREFUL! Not suggested though.

Why don't you fix your car first before you kill someone else or yourself before you worry about premix...

Does it hurt to premix after you fillup, so you know precisely how much premix to add?
