Help Me Understand Wiring.

Hey Friends,

On Hand is S5 T2 Wiring Harness.
I am trying to hook it up to my haltech E8 PNP.
when i bought my swap it came with harness and everything.
but i think i have some missing links.

The connector on the far right was on the old pcm

This i dont know where it goes. there was connector attached to it but was cut

this was connected to all the emmsion solenoids. do i needs them for anything? or should i just cut them?

My question is what side controls what.

If i need to hook up wideband and stuff i would i do it?

I built a new harness for my 88 TII a few days ago so i know quite a bit about how this stuff works.

The big cut connector on the right belongs to a front harness. There's not only the emissions harness under the hood of your car but also the so called front harness which mainly connects the ignition system to the ecu.

In the picture where you're holding the 4 blue wires there is a big yellow connector near your hand. At a stock harness there are two of these connectors at that position. The 4 blue wires are normally connected to the second connector which in your case is missing. Inside the engine bay they are connected to a six-pin-connector which is plugged into the front whiper motor there should also be a black wire which would also be connected to that six-pin-connector and to the missing yellow connector. The sixth pin is originally bridged with another pin in the connector.

I'm running my engine without the emission solenoids but that depends on how you built your engine. If all the emissions stuff is gone you won't need those connectors anymore. I didn't even put those wires and connectors into my new harness.

I didn't pull that one out of my car but i know at least it is connected to the main fuse box with the big fuses inside the engine bay. I don't know exactly if the battery cables belong to that harness, too.
