help me please

i have a huge problem... my car wont run for crap and when it does run, it dies all the time.... after about 15 minutes of driving then it begins to get better... also when driving i push the throttle pedal past 1/4 way down and the car just sputters, loses power, and runs really bad. i was thinking it could be a bad vacuume line somewhere, bad tps sensor, or maybe even a dirty fuel filter. any feedback would be greatly appreciated. thank you

What year and model? It may be a vacuum leak or maybe you cats are clogged.

well. get this..... i can be driving along, get on it a little bit and nothing will happen,(no check engine) and other times i can do the same thing, get on it and at about 4k the check engine light comes on. what the hell?? if i turn the car off then back on the check engine light goes off. i got the throttle cable tightened up. that was my idle problem. but now the damn thing just falls on it's face when the check engine light comes on... could it be a mass air flow sensor or something like that? ****. this is messing me up. hardcore..

Got a check light - pull the code for openers.
If it's something like the MOP, you need to fix it now.
The procedure is in the FSM.
I have a copy - The link is in my sig below.
It's in the Fuel & emissions controls section.
