How high does everyone rev their FC's? I shift much lower than the buzzer when I'm cruising. At the track I use the buzzer as my "shift light". Just wondering how high some people take the rev's and where most people's shift points are when drag racing.

How many FCs actually have the "Economical" shift light... I noticed on my friends '88 n/a that he had a light that said "shift up" --- I guess I don't have one since it was converted to a manual from an automatic... oh well, wish I did have one!

ilike2eatricers- its not set to go off at a set RPM but at the most fuel efficient point depending on throttle possition.

Ex= Cruising at a light pace it will go off at 26 or 2700rpms. Mild driving it will go off at say 3500 or 4000rpms. WOT situations it will not come on untill around 5krpms or a little higher. Hope that helps.

There was a thread a long long time ago on this. The buzzer can be "changed' by changing the restiance of some line on the gauge cluster. its been over a year sence i read it but i know its possible. Search the 2nd gen forum a few dozen pages back, its there
