If it's a TII,thereis a nasty little hose under there.Requires removal of the upper intake manifold to get at it.Have fun!

Don't drive the car. There should be a puddle where you parked the car. If not, and you don't see any residue anywhere on the car, pour some liquid into the radiator and into the resevior, then see where the liquid *water, is coming out of. I'm guessing you have a cracked hose, or a seal somewhere. Good luck.

Peace,
AJ ^_^

This happened to me last week. Check the heater hose that comes from the firewall to the engine on the drivers side. I couldn't tell exactly where the leak was coming from until after all the coolant leaked out. My car had 140k miles upon failure of the hose. Even when I felt the entire length of the hose with my bare hands I couldn't detect a crack in the hose. It turns out after removal and inspection that the hose had a small crack or split where the hose clamp is and connects to the engine block. I couldn't believe that all the coolant was coming out of that little crack. When I took the hose off I was able to tear the soft rubber end of the hose off by hand. Mazdatrix sells a new hose for about $24. As a quick fix however since I determined that most of the hose was still good, I chopped off a good extra inch of the hose end and reattached it (do this at your own risk).

Take the heater hose off and inspect it. These are prone to failure and have a high failure rate. When I looked under my car at the time of the big leak it looked as though it was coming out of the oil pan! If it's still the original hose then chances are it may have a crack somewhere. Also right above the motor mount is the engine coolant drain plug-- it's either that or the heater hose cause those are the only two areas on the driver's side of the engine where coolant is accessible.

You probably have the same leak I had. Check the coolant hose that comes out of the trottle body. This hose comes out the back of the TB and goes under the intake manifold and into the block. If that hose is leaking, you have to take the manifold off in order to change it

While you have that off, it would be a good idea to inspect all your vacuum hoses/fuel hoses and replace them.
