help installing my s4 engine!

ok guys..I am finishing up my installation finally of my new engine..I have a few noob questions though..
1.What kind of oil should I use if I want to run premix, 20w50? I've also heard you can use 2 stroke oil..would bel ray mc-1 be suitable, also, how much should i put in per tank of gas?
2. I have a metal vacuum line with a rubber hose coming off of it located on the lim on the passenger side of the engine, facing the passenger fender..what is this for? It is on the rear end of the engine (closest to the firewall) I can't find a place for the hose to connect to...
3. Lastly, there is a mystery device (at least to me) found on the upper intake manifolds, it is on the passenger side of the engine on the intake runners, and it has a pretty sizeable diameter tube that looks like it is looking for some type of coolant or fuel or something, I dont know what it is for..also, before everyone says hook the two things that I dont know what they are together, I tried, and it wont fit the hose isnt long enough and the vacuum hose is too small to fit on the tube on the uim.....

thanks alot for the help, and sorry for the long post..

1. If you are going to run premix, then use two stroke oil. I believe the recommended amount is 1 ounce per gallon ( but im not sure so, someone back me up).
2.Cant help you with that, i have an s5.
3.its the BAC valve one coolant line comes from the block to the valve, the other from the valve to the port on the throttle body to open your cold idle throttle plates.

You should really check out the FSM for these items.

ok guys, update, I figured out all the mystery lines etc...

now i am having trouble starting it..I got everything going, and turned the key and it will turn over and over, and catch every other time or so, but not start..I push started it and it began to run, ran for like 10 seconds, but then when I gave it gas it stalled...it also will start and stall alot, and backfire some too..basically any time I hit the gas at all it backfires and will run for like a second, then stall..
what are these symptoms of?
thanks alot guys

.75 - 1.0 oz/ gal. will work good. Use TCW-3.

Yeah, he's defiantly talking about the vacuum line for the brake booster, 10AEturboII. As far as starting problems like that, i'd check for vacuum leaks first. Then look through thingsl ike the timing (make sure the CAS is stabbed right), make sure your plugs are hooked up in the correct order, and make sure the plugs are clean.

Let us know how you make out.

i know this is probably a dumb question, but which coils, and which numbers on the coil correspond to which rotors, leading and trailing and one and two..the haynes manual doesnt tell me, and now that I think about it that may be the problem..
thanks
