alright...well assuming you have a wiring harness that came with your radio....you then need a harness that matches up to your car....To get this if y ou don't have it, run to best buy or circuit city, or any reputible car audio shop and tell them you need a wiring stereo wiring harness for a 19XX mazda rx7. Bring that harness home, and wire it together with the harness that came with your cd player. match the colors.
white and gray wires = front speakers
green and purple wires = rear speakers
red= accessory power
yellow= constant power
blue or blue/white = aux power (for power antennas and remote amplifier turnon)
...if your power antenna is broken like everybody elses....then there's really no need to wire this up.
you don't need the orange wires
The only other wire you have to account for is ground...If I remember correctly The harness I got for my 2nd gen didn't have a ground wire...
Just extend the black wire coming out of the harness for your radio and run it down to one of the bolts under your shifter surround and using a ring terminal...ground it there.
That's about it....turn the car ignition on and press power on the radio...it should all light up and go.

LTBlue/Red= 12v+
LtBlue/White= +Accessory
LtBlue/Yellow= -power ant trigger
Red/Black=+ Lumination
White=Factory Amp Turn on
Ground to the body, use the 10mm bolt behind the center console front drivers access panel. Do not use the Red/Black as ground it will damage the interior light circuit and dimmer in the car
Front Speakers (maximum of a 15 watt peak from the radio):
LtGreen/Red= Left
LtGreen/Black= Left
LtGreen= Right
LtGreen/Yellow=Right
Rear Speakers (if applicable, if you have the amplified rear speakers again the Maximum of 15 watts peak is all the stock speaker amp input can handle):
Brown= Left rear
Brown/White= Left Rear
LtBlue= Right Rear
LtBlue/Orange=Right Rear
Note: as mentioned above the power antenna's trigger is ground (or - ). With all aftermarket radio's antenna output as 12 volts positive (+). To make a stock power antenna work you need a relay wired like this:

oh, so somebody hacked up the factory harness....gay. However, it looks like you could reconnect them back to the factory harness, as they didn't clip the plugs off. If this is the case, I'd reconnect all the wires back to the factory plug and go buy a harness...that's just me tho....other than that, just go by the guide NZ posted from the FAQ.

No new harness or plugs are required. The head unit should come with its own unterminated harness, which gets connected directly to the car's wires with bullet connectors or similar. Easy.

...of course it's not required...but I'd rather patch it back up, so if I want to change back to stock radio...say if I'm going to sell the car and want my aftermarket one...it's just plug n' play. Just personal preference. I hate a hacked up factory harness.
