Help identifying wires/plugs

Just bought this '87 TII a couple weeks ago. I'm tearing it down for a track only build and came across some different wires/plugs that I cant identify. Please help me out if you can.

Thanks,

Andrew

1. Wires coming off the dash harness(Left to Right: Black that splits off in 2, then 3/Blue and White/Blue and Red/White/Green and Red/Green and Black/Green/Green and Yellow/Blue and Yellow/Blue and Red/Blue and Black)?

Speaker wires?

2. Two white plugs under the fuse box?

3. White plug next to the fuse box?

4. Two green plugs by the drivers headlight?

5. Black box plugged in next to the pressure sensor. Also the white plug to its left?

Thanks,

Andrew

greed plugs are diagnostic, they dont get connected to anything.

i dont believe i have the 2 plugs by the coils plugged in but im running a haltech so i dunno if you need them or not.

i would look through the fsm/wiring diagrams for the first 2 pics.

Pic 1: looks like wires to do with the audio system and possibly the wires that go down to the cig. lighter. Make sure that anything with 12V is insulated properly, at least the thick blue/white wire is ignition power.

Pic 2: the roundish one kinda looks like power supply and trigger for the leading coil with ignitor. not sure about the other one.

Pic 3: AAS?

Pic 4: Check connectors like stated above.

Pic 5: The black box that is plugged in line with the MAP sensor is a fuel cut defender.

Pic 1: That is what I expected the wires to be. I took out all the audio cause he did a hack job.

Pic 2: I'll have to do some investigating around those plugs and the coil?

Pic 3: Is AAS the Auto Adjusting Suspension?

Pic 4: Cool

Pic 5: Sweet!

Thanks,

Andrew

I think the white wire red stripes on mine is a positive

the only black wires that split off like that are of those in my sunroof controls or dome lights but they are alot longer

I believe in Pic 2 the plugs are for the stepping motor and the PS. Can anyone explain the stepping motor please? The car did NOT come with PS so I can leave the small oval plug alone I think.

Thanks,

Andrew

Also, I haven't been able to verify that the plug in PIC 3 is for the AAS?

The plug in picture 3 is for the AAS, useless on every FC unless so equipped.
