Help identifying a spring

Folks,

I bought some struts/springs off ebay recently and just received them today.

Here is the body of the ad:

Heres is a set of four street/racing shock and Eibach spring assembly's. These were pulled from a gen2 1990 Mazda rx7 that was an unfinished project car. The shocks have less than 1000 miles on them and they were stored (off the car) for about 9 months The valve rod and internal workings are rust free. the eibach springs are the pro set and were on the car longer than the shocks but they are still in great shape the pictures dont due them justice these are sharp!

However, when I opened the boxes today, staring at me where spray painted black springs that aren't stamped "eibach" and certainly don't look progressive, as I understood them to be.

In looking at the pictures (from ebay), can anyone positively id these either definitely as eibachs or not? I'm concerned that they are not.

TIA,
Tucker

looks like stock to me too. The sping on an Eibach is going to be a bit different because of the progressive spring rate, but its easy to tell. from the looks of it i dont think its Eibach. I could be wrong. I am 90% sure its not eibach spring. Why would anyone paint their springs,

Assuming they've been painted, I can't go by color as an indicator. Does anyone have a picture of Eibach springs before installing them on your car? I really need to compare the spring shape, number of coils, etc.

does the coil spacing change dramatically? If so, they're progressive. If not, they're linear (and then, most likely stock)
