help i killed my fc.. help help please(no i dident blow a motor thoguh )
so today, i had the radio on all day when i was polishing my rims, so i go to start it and it goes click, and like a idiot i hold the key on longer, then POP loud pop, so then i get my jumper pack and it starts kinda, like its running on 1 rotor, skiping and blupper and dies and runs really.. soooo i changed the coils, cas, and ECU still the same shitt, so i unplug the main relay and it dont even run so i assume its not that, then i unplugg the afm and it kinda idles really bad at a high rpm, then i plug it back in and the car just all out DIES, then i cant start it and it runs shitty, soo im clueless what else can i change or check, i cand get a vid of it running shitt if neccarcy, umm all fuses appear to be good to.. SOOOO

You *sure* it was the battery and not carbon lock or a seal that got tossed and had locked the engine? And your persistance didn't just blow the seal out and now that's why it doesn't run? First and foremost, compression check.

Just for running the stereo all day? Why did you throw all those parts at it before running some tests? Now that throws more variables into narrowing it down. Are the lights dimming out? When it was clicking, did it sound like the starter soelnoid?

Who knows? It's basic common sense, we can't tell you how to troubleshoot and how to fix every little thing wrong with the car prior to knowing what exactly is wrong, which you've not provided us with, all we can tell you to do is what to check first, and after that you can determine what is wrong, and then i'm sure whatever it is someone's covered before. I mean seriously, are you expecting someone to say aww it's alright just replace your cigar fuse and it'll be all good?
check the voltage on the batter (hook multimeter up, with and with out the car running) and give us the reading. check spark (turn car off, pull 1 plug, put a screw driver in it and bring it close to a strut tower, NOT holding it turn the car over and see if you can see a spark)
theres the easy electrical checks
for fuel check the fuel pressure

Haha, psycho eh? I just figured you were crazy.
But yes, best teaching/learning tool is demonstration. Until then, though, just do the basic stuff. Check things, read the FSM, keep checking, eventually you'll narrow it down to the actual problem if you know what you're doing.

God, it's hard actually doing it in person sometimes, because they just get in the way and do the stupidest things at times you just want to kick the damn hood prop out and watch it whack them in the head and walk away. Oh well I guess!

At big repair shops and tire places they have those aquarium style waiting rooms, so the public can't get past the glass and bother the mechanics. I think that's what we need, like a tent to keep them in until the car is fixed, something you can set up on site and lure the customers into.
