I was the same way. the options I gave myself were to do a v6 or v8 swap, or sell the shell.

as of now, im sending the engine in to rx7 specialties in calgary (dont even start ), and souping up as much as I can while its out. including ignition, flywheel, custom stereo, and a mad in and out detailing!!

which brings my debt levels up toward about 8 grand!

Damn, when I ran into **** like that I threw it up for sale and bought a different one, and then learned from one that actually ran properly.

Like always, Felix's threads turn into off topic post whoring.

If this thread is no longer about what his problems may be, let it die. If you have something useful to say in regards to his issues, reply.

Ill finish a TII I got and trade you :-) Then you can have a runing working one and **** it up all u want.

If you got compression and solid spark - Replace plugs and wires retime the motor and charge the battery over night then go over all of your grounds.

Unplug your TPS and check the water thermo sensor and then the impediance at the injectors.

If that fails give me call and we can trade cars ;-)

trying to learn how to build an engine, do body work and paint work, learn electrical and electronics and wiring issues is a lot to take in in a short period. **** it took me 13 years to get where i am and you know how many rebuilds it took me to get it right.

either suck it up, search for answers in the manual or on the forum and deal with it or sell it and buy a DD that works and runs and don't dick with it.

how often do i come to the forum in search of an answer? a ******* hell of a lot! but you won't see threads whining about problems or asking questions because i search the answers out myself(maybe once in a blue moon like on the standalone forums i will post a question). after a while of helping the same person over and over again it tends to be a bother and people will resent you for it, as per this thread. we all make mistakes, we all **** **** up.. it's a learning experience.

time to be a man and learn on your own like most of us did.

whoever said you learn by figuring **** out on your own hit the nail on the head. it might be a pain in the ***, it might not be for you and only you can answer that question.

And this is the problem with most the forum, they DONT do this and don't realize it can actually be faster or better

well i think we all do our part and try to hammer it into people to simply try and keep the board uncluttered except for those fewer harder to solve problems, though this one might fit into that category it is a little too late. (whining really does not help the situation)

pull the plugs. . get a long grill lighter, stick it in the plug hole, light it. . watch the torch. . do this to each plug hole. . put in new plugs . . pull the egi fuse or what ever, or if you have a fuel pump switch, switch it off. . turn it over for a bit, let her sit, turn her over for a bit again. . ect. you know the drill. .

The car would run without a side seal and even idle and fire on both rotors still
