HELP!! I cant boost at all and have no idea whats wrong.

Ok well heres the deal... I did the full T2 swap on my car its running and everything.

Heres the thing, I HAD the stock n/a pressure sensor on the car until today. I out the T2 pressure sensor on today so that I would be able to boost.

Well, I hooked it up and I went to take my car for a test drive to see if I could boost but still I couldnt, the second i leave vaccum it hits a wall and backfires and just wants to stall. I dont know what else it could be.

Could it be the TPS?

Please gimme your opinions..

Thanks

first thing is first:

sounds dumb, but check for leaks usually #1 problem
which computer are you running?
i had a problem with a JDM computer not producing boost and it ran like ****. swapped out with a ASPEC and ran fine. that was my experience
check for codes and make sure everything is hooked up.
trust me on this, i did the exact same swap you did back in dec.

Well, i HAD a jdm computer but it was f***ed up so someone i know switched it out for me, i dont know if its the US ecu or still another JDM one, but i can look at the ecu and see what it says. I dont have any check engine lights, until the ecu reads any boost then it throws a CEL. but thats the only time it throws a code.

then you probaly have the wrong pressure sensor. make sure it is for an S5 and make sure it is a TII one also. check the number on the pressure sensor.
how does it run before boost?

yes im positive that its a S5 T2 pressure sensor, i just bought it off a reputable forum member, and the number on the pressure sensor is N370.. and before boost its fine

check for a short in the O2 sensor lead, when i swapped in my tII and first got it running anytime i left vac, and started to boost, it just bucked and the boost fluttered, drove me crazy trying to figure it out.

the crazy thing was the ecu would never throw any codes, but finally i found that the o2 sensor wire had a bad spot and the inner wire was shorting out with the coaxial type sheilding around it, fixed that and that fixed all my probs, still dont know why it never threw a code for the feedback system

have you tried disconnecting your FCD and seeing how it runs w/o it?

it wasnt installed the first day i got it running then i installed it to see if it would make it better. But one thing that I learned today is that the 1-12 on the HKS dial isnt like the psi fuel cut, its channels and each car has a different channel, so earlier i set the FCD to the correct channel for my car.

I also installed a new TPS and my friend came over and set it for me. Now I have excellent throttle responce... lol

But heres the problem now........

I start the car, I start to drive and then i give it like 50-75% throttle, it boosts and pulls HARD ....... then after a couple of seconds of boosting it throws a CEL and then like hits a wall.... (fuel cut).... I jumpered the connecter today to check see what the CEL was for.... but i didnt flash at all.

The weird thing is, the CEL only comes on after the car has been boosting for a little bit, the second i turn the ignition all the way off and restart the car, the CEL is gone. I dont understand whats happening and im trying to figure out what to do next.

i just went outside and checked the code on my ecu and it says N353 18 881 .... isnt that a convertable ecu? would that be the problem because i know i read somewhere that u can use verts ecu's cause they are mapped for boost or something..
