I was removing my engine loom from my 87 T2 ( J spec) and i didnt uplug a clip that when into a small is sliver box up on the side of the car with a circit board behind it and i bent the circit board. and i dont know what its for.

It is inside the car and attaches to the main ecu loom.
can some one help me and tell me what it is???

 

you need to be more specific on where it is the size of it and the number of wires out of it

it was the knock sensor ecu chip or whatever, the chip board is snapped in half but if i do some dodgy soldering it will work again
