help! flushing rad

so im preping for a rebuild and i go to drain my radiator. i lossen the top plastic screw and drain as much fluid off the top rad hose as possible before removing it. i then get under the car to begin draining and i can feel that the bottom screw doesnt feel right. so i take a look and i see that the screw has been rounded 0.0 since it was getting late i decided to clean up for the day and think about what to do. Since its a plastic screw, will i b able to hammer a philips in to turn it? or what are my other options?

Pull the lower radiator hose off. It will surely drain, then take a look at the plug later.

Be careful if you try to "screwdriver" the plastic plug; the plugs are rather brittle and will break off in chunks, and the plastic on the radiator cracks rather easily if stressed(unless you've got a metal radiator). Personally, I just take the thermostat out of the car and crack open the engine block drain (driver's side motor mount; the long bolt is the plug).
