Help... Flooding, now no power...

Ok, well here is the situation. My motor has been flooding a lot recently, but I'm not sure what the culprit is. I am in need of a tune up, my fuel injectors may need cleaning, and I'm not even sure about compression...

I plan on getting new plugs, wires, all 4 belts, thermostat, and o2 sensors, when I get my next paycheck. So yesterday I tried doing the water treatment on my car and the idiot that was supposed to keep the car revved and running let it die. So after 2 hours of trying to unflood the motor and getting the water out of the engine, I finally got it to turn on. I had to replace the plugs and add a little oil to get it on. Well, after I got it to run, the extra oil/water (if any) began to burn and nearly suffocated the old lady walking her dog down the street. After I got it to turn on, I had tried again and successfully performed the water treatment to it, and I poured a little seafoam into the gas tank and mixed it into the water for that extra cleaning...

This morning I was driving my lil brother to school and I realized that there is little to no power before 3.5k RPMs. It is an N/A s4 vert with a full TII drive train conversion. I have to wait until next week to get the things for my tune up. I want to know if you guys think there is something seriously wrong or if it is just how it is normally feels. Since the 5th and 6th ports usually dont open till about 3.5k RPMs. This is the first time I perform the water treatment, and did feel an improvement in drive ability, and in my idle.

Is it normal to feel powerless in the bottom of the power band and feel like a turbo just started spooling at 3k? or is there a problem I really need to worry about?

Plz, any advice would be greatly appreciated, this is my DD...

imho water/ seafoam treatments are last ditch scenarios to free a stuck seal and should never be used on a decent running motor. but thats my opinion. SEAFOAM IS CORROSIVE

. i'm gonna assume you don't really know what your doing if your trying this stuff before you've even done a tune up. how about replacing all that stuff and then seeing if the problem still persists?

how did you feel improvement in drive-ability and idle? if it's not running right? BTW driveability is a word that describes the handling of the car so it isn't ipossible that that changed with what you did.
