HELP! fast cooling system question....

OK i just flushed my radiator and block, now it wont accept all the coolent it should have? i let it warm up to temerature and stuff, but it still wont take it. i put a gallon of antifreeze in and than went to put a gallon of water and it barely took half. it still needs like a gallon of fluid, how do i get it to take it? yes im pretty sure the thermastat is working becuase the upper rad hose got hot after a while, and it accepted 'some' more coolent after that..............help please car in sig

There's a bleeder screw on the top pass. side of the radiator. It looks like a phillips, but unless you've got one that big find a flat blade that fits it well.

Open that and then fill 'til it runs out there, put bleeder screw back in and fill the rest of the way up.

Was that fast enough? Cheers

Leave the cap off when you turn the car on and fill it as you see bubbles, thats how we did it at Jiffy Lube, it should spill out unless you put to much in.

Just a thought...when you drained your Coolant, did you remove the bolt/plug at the Driver's engine mount aswell?
