Arrow Help with bolts(comp)

I have some new bolts: 0000-01-9801 C BOLT, FRONT STATIONARY GEAR 6 ALL RX 12A, 13B, 20B 1974-UP Notes: Heavy Duty stationary gear bolt, replaces stock design. The problem is they don't fit through my stock bearing plate. The rear bolts worked fine. What bearing plate should I use with the new bolts?

Also what is the differance in the comp needle bearings?

As I recall the front bolts are longer then the rear ones. Is that your problem? The local fastener store should be able to provide you with super-dooper-crazy-strong bolts in the proper length for a few dollars.

Nope thats not it. the ones that I bought from mazda (part# 0000-01-9801) don't fit through the stock bearing plate holes. The threaded part fits but the body of the bolt is to big.

Ah, I see. What about slightly enlarging the holes witha file or drill press?

Just wondering, but is there something that goes between the head of the bolt and the bearing plate? Thats what it looks like it should be to me, but its been too long since I pulled my engine apart to remember exactly.

These just came with a flat washer that was beveled on one side.
