hello again HKS intercooler kit

Hi everybody! I haven't posted on here in a long time because I sold the vert and picked up a miata.

Anyway, I have a friend who has an HKS intercooler kit designed for an 87 rx7 coupe. He gave up on his turbo project and now wants to sell it.

Any idea what's a good asking price? Comes with piping, clamps, IC, elbows.

thanks!

it takes 5 minutes to look through the classifieds section to see what others are selling for.

It is worth whatever he is willing to let it go for.

$500 and up is my opinion. HKS intercooler kits are not cheap at all.

depends on the condition, they were steel pipes

it depends if it is the older or newer kit, the older one had steel pipes and was made so you wouldnt have to relocate the battery (in otherwards the piping was long and awkwardly placed in the engine compartment), or if it is the newer kit which I believe has polished aluminum piping and a more conventional piping layout. IMHO I'd say maybe 400ish for the older one (the piping design is heavy and horrible) and maybe 600-1000 for the newer version depending on condition (600 being bang up , 1000 being very good/excellent condition).

Thanks guys! I believe it's a newer model, I know he paid more than a grand for it when he bought it new.

You'll probably see it in the FS section sooner or later.
