Heavy smoking?

huh, my 88 NA started doing that soon after I filled a quart of oil into it. I didn't check the dipstick before adding because after 500 miles I assumed it would need some with my presumably functional MOP. I wonder if my oil system just has too much oil in it and is overcoming the seals which are about 100k old now.
My vert was smoking like that.
I did the coolant seal fix.
It dosn't smoke anymore.

well even though its been smoking like the spy hunter video game ive gotten it to run ok and ive driven it a total of about a mile. I took off the turbo like some of you suggested and it was dry. spark plugs are still getting oil on them and for the mile that ive driven it , it has gone through 5 quarts of oil like it was nothing. I looked around for any oil leaks and the ground and motor are completely dry.
go to the autoparts store, and there is this syrup looking **** in a clear bottle by the oil section, i think it's called 'stop leak'. if you put a bottle of that with your oil, your leak will stop. i had to use it on my 88gxl. did it for 4 months without a problem, til the day i forgot to add it and go a hefty ticket for gross polution.
that might have worked with you but did you see that? 5 quarts!! thats insane!! i never heard of such a thing!! i thought if the oil seals go it smokes like hell but not blows oil out of the exhaust like its from iraq! now is the time to really make it something!! streetport? or more?
i watched the video, and my car was doing somthing similar, except maybe a little MORE smoke was coming out. when i drove down the street, i left a trail behind me that stayed for about 15 seconds. im just saying to give it a try, it wouldnt hurt

ill try the stop leak see what happens. Its not my daily driver so im open to all options but i still have the old motor from the car wich im going to rebuild . One thing, ill never buy a used engine ever again i dont care how low the miles are. for the money i spent buying this motor and all the little stuff i had to buy to install it i could have had a shop rebuild the old motor. LESSON LEARNED
i learned my lesson with the turbo i bought...not as expensive of a fix as yours but as soon as i threw it on the car i filled the driveway up with smoke..i had to rebuild it...
good thing its not your DD...
