oh my hell!

so my car finally made it to the track. engine water temps never went over 200* based off the laptop and the aftermarket gauge but the engine bay temps were rediculous. you could feel it 10' away and it was 80* outside.

i already have my down pipe wrapped and tubular header wrapped

this is turbo by the way. im going to do a v-mount setup this weekend and block off the rad and ic from the rest of the bay but i still would like a reasonable temp under the hood.. the hood prop was too hot to hold on to for too long.

any more tricks i can do to keep it cool? i dont want to lift the back of the hood or cut any huge freaking holes in the hood besides for the ic

 

no hood....thats how i roll.
