Cool Headlight Conversion Mystery

I'm trying to find C-West style Conversion Headlight kit for my 91' FC, but can only locate it for FD's. I've attached pictures which show that the FC's version does exist. I hope that this was not a modified FD kit.... The work involved to do such a task seems overwhelming, esspecially with the extreme differences in Headlight assembly size, shape and positioning. I'll be looking for the Rex-Guru who can solve this dilema.

the other one is an East Bear kit not a C-west. I've never heard of that for an FC.

That is my kit on both of those cars. It's the East Bear kit. I THINK the RX7store can get them for you still. I got mine a few years ago. Nowadays they run about $600 I think.

You could also contact Phase2motorsports. They deal mainly with 240s now, but that's where I got mine. They should be able to get them for you still.

Good luck!

Reese

East Bear's website has the kit for 58,000 yen which is equivalent to $547.00 dollars, however my computer can't read Japanese so I wouldn't know how to contact them.

So far the best result I got was Reese's RX7 Store $650.00 Bucks {thanks} I can't seem to find another viable importer of East Bear, since Phase2motorsports now import for 240sx and Gotham Racing caters to FD's. If there is no other alternative... then I'll go with the RX7 Store.
Thanx All,
GT

Yeah, I made the East Bear purchase from www.rx7store.net aswell. At the time of talking with Jason he had told me that he had two left In stock with no Intention of re-stocking this kit again. This was almost two years ago, btw.

Also, I found a top notch guy that works with fiber glass. I will be making replica lense covers with these. Partly due to If I find that one gets cracked or goes missing - what do I do? They don't sell these by themselves. I'll post more about this at a later date.

Thankx yuichiror the "email address on East Bear's site: info@east-bear.co.jp" did help. My East Bear kit is on the way from Japan, since they're the only ones who carry it now. After paying for item, shipping, and foreign credit card tax:.......... grand total was $676.00 to my door. Now I'm gonna figure out a project to improve on the Tail lights.
