Four brands that I know of: RB, pace setter, monza, and that other one that is custom made and costs 500 dollars.
Best performance for the value would be RB's header.
Gains I would venture to say 10-15hp
no prob

Monza=Pacesetter
Best performance gains would probably be seen by the Racing Beat header. The only problem is that the header+presilencer is around $300. Unless you want to do custom exhaust piping and a loud car, get the presilencer.
BTW-I think a header should be every RX-7s first mod. Cheap and add lots of power and torque.

Thanks guys, yes, I think that and a intake would work well together!
I have heard some RB systems with a presilencer and I was suprised at how quiet it was...Almost stock quiet...
Any other views?
Dosen't Mindtrain sell a header for our cars too?

My cheapo budget setup started with the Mazdatrix header kit.
The RB assembly is much better quality for an extra $100.
See the pics & sound bite links in my sig below.

The stuff it very well built, a number of forum members have them and speak highly of them. My car goes on the road in the next 2 weeks then I can give my impressions
I have heard a complete Mindtrain systems installed and running both on a S4 and S5, theyt sounded great, deep with a hint of a growl, nothing loud or tinny in the sound! Just what I wanted.
That's why I ordered one
