Having hard time reving past 3600rpm

I own an 87 TII. Ive never had much problem revving it past 3600 rpm. I have the Racing Beat Hi Power full exhaust system, with the FCD. However, recently I did change a new battery without unplugging the FCD. Does this make a difference or could this possibly be something else? Its fairly consistent in every gear when Im in gear I have hard time revving past 3600, it definately feels like a fuel cut. But when I'm in neutral and revving, I'm able to rev just fine. Any ideas guys?

maybe you're secondary injectors are clogged. Meaning no fuel is getting into the motor.

Huh, my boost also drops when I rev past 3600. If it was the secondary injectors would flushing the fuel injectors fix it?

Take off your upper manifold, look at the wiring, peel away some tape if you have to. Also you might as well get them cleaned while your at it. search for RC enginering. Or a local injection shop can do it

3800 rpm hesitation...its a common problem. Like they said above, it usually has to do with poor grounding of the secondary injectors. Search or take a look in the archives for tips on how to fix it.
